1. Introduction
Welcome to Mindlect (“the Platform”). Mindlect is an online Learning Management System (LMS) owned and operated by Zorigen (Pty) Ltd, providing digital learning solutions for creators, institutions, businesses, and individual learners.
By accessing or using Mindlect, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue usage immediately.
2. Definitions

“Mindlect” refers to the LMS Platform operated by Zorigen (Pty) Ltd.

“User / Learner” means any individual accessing courses, subscriptions, or digital learning content.

“Instructor / Creator” means any individual or organisation delivering or selling courses through Mindlect.

“Courses” means digital learning content including videos, text, tests, files, modules, and materials.

“Subscription” refers to monthly, yearly, or recurring access to content or services.
3. Eligibility
To use Mindlect, you must:

Be at least 13 years old (minors require guardian consent).

Agree to these Terms.

Provide accurate registration details.
4. Account Registration
Users must create an account with accurate information.
You are responsible for:

Keeping your login credentials secure

All activity performed under your account

Not sharing your account with others
Mindlect may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Use of the Platform
Users agree not to:

Access or download content illegally

Resell or redistribute course materials

Upload harmful, illegal, or copyrighted content

Interfere with platform functionality, security, or other users
Mindlect reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms.
6. Payments, Billing & Pricing
Mindlect offers:

Subscription-based access

Once-off course purchases

Institutional or bulk-access plans
Prices may change at any time.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
Mindlect uses secure third-party payment gateways (e.g., Paystack, Stripe).
Mindlect does not store full credit card details.
7. Refunds
Refunds follow our 7-Day Conditional Refund Policy, detailed in the Refund Policy document.
In summary:

Refunds are available within 7 days ONLY if:

The course or content was not accessed beyond 10%, OR

A platform malfunction prevented access

Subscription renewals are non-refundable, unless not used

Completed courses or downloaded materials are not eligible for refunds
8. Instructor Content & Licensing
Instructors retain ownership of their content but grant Mindlect a license to:

Host

Stream
-
Distribute
-
Display
their course content to enrolled learners.
Mindlect may promote courses using thumbnails, titles, and descriptions.
9. Intellectual Property
All platform software, features, branding, and design belong to Zorigen (Pty) Ltd.
Users may not reproduce or reverse-engineer any part of the system.
Course content remains the property of creators unless otherwise stated.
10. Termination
Mindlect may suspend or terminate user accounts for:

Violating terms

Fraudulent activity

Abusive or harmful behaviour

Payment issues
Users may delete their accounts at any time.
11. Limitation of Liability
Mindlect is provided “as is.”
Zorigen (Pty) Ltd is not liable for:

Loss of data

Instructor-provided information

Downtime due to maintenance

Third-party payment issues
12. Changes to Terms
Mindlect may update these Terms at any time.
Continued usage of the platform implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
